The Bevin Boys
Written by songwriter and long term friend of Latin Quarter this tells the story of the men who were conscripted during the 2WW to work down the mines to dig the coal that supplied the energy for the country. They were named after Ernest Bevin, the Minister of Labour in the coalition government.
